I’m not someone who regularly goes out and “discovers” new music. Which means that when I find an artist/album/song that I like, I pretty much listen to it over and over and over for the next 5-10 years. My old roommate came over to my new apartment for dinner a few weeks ago. Neko Case’s Middle Cyclone was playing and she remarked, “It’s just like the old days of when we lived together!” Well, guess what, Steph, it’s always going to feel like that because I never get any new CDs!!
Anyway, I love Neko Case. Obviously Steph knows that because she sent me this Country Living article of her house, which Neko describes as “a combination of science classroom, hunting lodge, and Art Nouveau battleship.” GAH, she’s such a genius.
